Things to know

We are not your typical "gym". We are only open for scheduled classes. The studio doors open 15-30 prior to a scheduled class. We do lock the doors while a class is in session for safety reasons, so please arrive early. If you would like to visit the studio outside of scheduled class times, please make an appointment.

As of Wednesday, May 19, 2021, masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated individuals, but are mandatory for non-vaccinated people. Please take class from home via Zoom if you aren't feeling well or are awaiting COVID test results due to a potential exposure or recent travel. Please follow CDC guidelines to help us continue to protect our community and still be able to practice together (in person or online)!

Pre-registration is required for all classes due to COVID restrictions and for your safety, as class size is greatly limited now. For online classes, please register at least 30 minutes prior to class so we can ensure your Zoom link is sent in time. Our new scheduling platform, GloFox, will automatically send you a link. If you do not receive it, check your promotions or spam folder first and then email and Lisa will email you the Zoom link. Please arrive 15 minutes before in person class begins to get yourself settled in. Please let your instructor know if you are nursing any injuries or would like to know modifications you may use to maximize your experience while taking care of your body. 


For yoga classes, please remember to bring your yoga mat. For all our classes, please bring a towel and a refreshing beverage such as water, electrolyte drinks or coconut water.

Our cycle bikes do accommodate sneakers or SPD bike clips. For TRX, Conditioning, HIIT and CAST classes, please wear clean indoor sneakers; as dirt, sand and salt really damage our floors and bikes.


Cancellation Policy: For workshops and special events, a minimum of 24 hours  is required if you need to cancel your reservation in order to receive studio credit for the cancelled event. No credit will be given if an event is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to a registered event.

For regularly scheduled classes, a minimum of 2 hours is required for cancellations if you wish to have the credit go back onto your account. No refunds, studio credit only. Thank you for your understanding!


We use GloFox for our scheduling software. Please download the GloFox app on your mobile device, or go online to: to register for classes. If you had an account with us on our old system, your username is the email address you had on that account. The passwords did not transfer. Select "forgot my password" to create a new one. If you do not receive your link to do so, please check your promotions or spam folder. Otherwise, don't hesitate to contact us at or call 860-739-2625.


In the event of inclement weather leading to cancellations, our online schedule will be updated. We try to remain open, if possible, but may need to close if it is unsafe for travel. Many of our classes are now available online via Zoom, so we are able to still run classes on snowy days!! The online schedule will be updated with any schedule changes. If you are registered for class, we will contact you regarding any changes.


Zen & Now 

Lisa Bragaw 

Zen & Now was originally founded in 2012 by two friends Lisa and Susan, who wanted to bring more joy into the world through yoga and fitness.  Susan has moved on to other things and we wish her all the best!

Lisa continues to welcome people into the studio and hopes to empower students to be advocates in their own health and wellbeing through yoga, fitness, mindfulness and meditation!
