Cycle
Studio Cycle at Zen & Now Wellness Center is a super fun, energizing way to move your body, get your blood pumping, and build strength and endurance in a supportive, inspiring environment. Using our smooth-riding Livestrong Matrix stationary bikes, you’ll enjoy a low-impact workout that combines cardio, lower body strength, breath awareness, and motivation — all in just 45 - 50 minutes.
Our cycle classes are rooted in a more traditional indoor cycling approach inspired by classic Spinning® and Schwinn® training styles. The focus is on purposeful riding, smart training, endurance, rhythm, and connection to your breath rather than complicated choreography. There’s no leaderboard and no pressure to compete with anyone else — just an opportunity to challenge yourself, ride at your own pace, and discover how strong and capable you truly are.
Indoor cycling is an excellent way to cross-train for many other activities and sports. It provides a high-intensity cardiovascular workout while being much gentler on the joints than many forms of exercise. Many runners and athletes use cycling to maintain endurance and leg strength while giving their knees and hips a break from repetitive impact.
The instructor will guide you through the ride by prompting you to add or reduce resistance to simulate riding on flat roads, climbs, and intervals. You are always in control of how much tension you add or take away, making the class adaptable for a wide range of fitness levels and experience.
Breathing is an important part of our rides. Learning to control and connect with your breath can improve endurance, recovery, focus, resilience, and overall wellbeing — both on and off the bike.
New to cycling? The first ride is always the hardest — and simply showing up is a huge win! Like learning anything new, it can take a few classes to get comfortable with the rhythm and setup, but each ride gets better and better. Come play, move, sweat, breathe, and have fun. You can do it!
The bikes can be adjusted to fit your body and make your ride more comfortable. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early, especially if you are new to cycling, so the instructor can help you set up your bike and go over some basics before class begins.
Please bring water and a small towel. Pedals accommodate clean sneakers or cycling shoes with SPD clips. (Please avoid dirty or sandy shoes, as debris can damage the bikes.)
Class size is limited, so preregistration is encouraged. If you need to cancel, please remove yourself from class online or notify us at least 2 hours in advance so another rider can enjoy the spot and to avoid a late cancel charge.
If class is waitlisted, don’t be discouraged — spots often open up, and the system will automatically notify you if a bike becomes available!

We have so many Conditioning and Fitness classes available to help you work toward your fitness goals! Choose from TRX, Conditioning, HIIT or CAST.
